The Polar Express

Tonight (Dec. 12th) we headed to the Botanical Gardens for a cold night of holiday fun.  The Botanical Gardens does a Polar Express event in which they read the original story, serve hot chocolate and treats, and take the kids on a "train" ride through the gardens to see the lights.  The event was so cute and fun to be shared with our friends, Alex, YaYa, Izzy, and Emmie!  Annaliese had never seen the lights at Botanical Gardens so even though it was a very cold night we enjoyed ourselves.

Since we were right around the corner from my dad's house we met him and Louise at Franco's for dinner!  I had been wanting to go there for quite some time as Eric and I know the owner but had not gotten there until tonight!  So glad we went...the pizza was yummy!
