Chesapeake Christmas Parade 2013

On Saturday, (Dec 7th) we participated in the Chesapeake Christmas Parade.  This is Annaliese's 3rd time being in a parade.  We have been in the Holiday Parade at the Beach for the past 2 years and now the Chesapeake Christmas Parade this year.  This was the first year we actually got to ride on a float.  I was the lucky parent that got to ride on the float with the kids along with Mrs. Mary Ann and her husband.  Annaliese and Elyse were the youngest ones in the parade so it was nice that I was on the float to keep them entertained.  Needless to say we ate lots of snacks.  They started out great with waving and saying "Merry Christmas" but then got a little tired of waving towards the end.  It was a very cold night compared to the day before.  Annaliese and I went with Elyse and her parents to McDonalds when we first got there to have dinner and by some time out of the cold air.  Then we headed back to the float to load up and get ready to go.  Our float was number 77 out of 100 so we had a ways to wait.  We were number Daddy, Gammy, Aunt Loretta, Boo, Jessica, Mike, and Christa were all there waving at us from the road!  We had a great time.
From one elf to another..."I love you!"
