"Boo, I found you!"

On Sunday, (the 10th) we played hookey from church as we did not have Sunday School.  Annaliese stayed around and played with old school things she had done over the past month such as this fun sensory game.  The game "Boo, I found you" had her searching for various colored and shaped ghosts.  When she found each she was to say, "Boo, I found you!"  So she's still playing with Halloween activities but hey that's the beauty in doing things at home...you don't have to rush through an activity just because a "pacing guide" tells you to move on!!! (My teacher friends understand the "pacing guide" lingo but for others out there that don't it's a curriculum guide that tells you when you must be teaching a certain skill.  The skills are only taught in a certain time frame and then guess what...whether the kids get it or not...you are moving on.  Such a sad tool at times.)
