Another New Park

Last Thursday we hit up another new park, just a little neighborhood park, but we had it all to ourselves!  We started out at music class, headed to gym, next to the library, and last to this park to have lunch and play.

1st Official Dental Visit

All 3 of us headed to the dentist last Wednesday for check-ups.  I am calling this Annaliese's 1st official dental visit because she got the full treatment of X-Rays and all this time.  Annaliese had been to Eric's dentist once before when she was 2 but it wasn't a full on-detailed visit.  Dr. Cleckner who Eric went to and his mom worked for had seen her previously.  He had removed a surface stain that she had on her front teeth from the Poly-Vi-Sol vitamins she used to take.  Since Dr. Cleckner is not longer with us Eric and Annaliese had their first visits with my dentist.  Annaliese did AMAZING.  She sat in the chair by herself, got all of her X-Rays, swished her fluoride, helped hold the suction, and kept her cool shades on the whole time.  She loved Dr. Miranda and did great for both him and the hygienist.  Dr. Miranda said her teeth looked great and I got to see her permanent teeth underneath her baby teeth on the X-Ray!

Gearing up for a 2nd Year of Dance

After the park play date we headed to Open House at Annaliese's dance studio to get new shoes.  Annaliese is excited to start dance again.  In the background you can see the dance video playing from last year's recital.  Annaliese asks me a couple times a week or more to watch the video.  She LOVES it and skips ahead/rewinds/watches over all of her favorites.  Her favorites tend to be the older girls jazz routines!

We tend to cram a lot into many of our days.  This busy Tuesday just happened to be: 1) Library Class #1 2) Library Class #2 3) Park Play Date 4) Home 5) Dance Open House 6) Family Night!

New Park Play Date

 After library classes last Tuesday we headed to a new park for a picnic and play date with Verena and Emmie.  It was Annaliese's 1st time at Bayville Farms Park.  It was a great time, a little on the chilly side, but fun. 

All About Me Week

Our "All About Me" unit last week started out with doctor fun for our Dramatic Play time!  When I ask her what she wants to be when she grows up she always answers "Mommy" right away.  Then when I tell her that she can be a Mommy and something else she tends to pick something in the medical field...doctor, nurse, surgeon!  And yes she knows what a surgeon is after all of Daddy's back troubles this summer.

Our Daily Dancing

Usually once a day Annaliese and I will dance and listen to music.  On this particular day (Monday the 16th) on the "Toddler Tunes" station the Chipmunks "Put a Ring on It" came on which she LOVES!

An "A-Peel-Ing" ending to our Apple Week

To end our Apple Week we did an apple taste test with Gammy and Daddy.  Later we graphed our favorites after Annaliese took a bite out of practically every slice!  Needless to say she LOVED the taste test.  Next we used the core to do our apple stamping and even managed to find the star inside to stamp!  Oh, and we counted all the seeds too!
